Sofia has loved performing since she was three years old. In preschool, she memorized and recited Some One by Walter de la Mare in front of her class. Every year after that, she was part of her class’s plays, performing as a choir member, narrator, and ensemble character. Her repertoire includes Little Red Hen, Princess and the Pauper, and Oliver Twist.
When Sofia migrated to Canada, the school’s play director noticed her talent and cast her in a side role in Ratz. Eager to develop her skills, she took drama and musical theatre classes throughout high school. At Mary Ward Catholic School, she played Suzie Harper in their 2015 play Tom Sawyer. As a grade 9 student, she was not expected to have a speaking part, but she showed dedication. More recently, she moved to a school where there were no plays, so she was part of small drama and musical theatre scenes from shows like Mamma Mia and Descendants.
Despite her birthday being in August, Sofia’s first birthday party was a costume party. Her favourite holiday has always been Halloween, where she would have a different costume each year. Recently, she has been cosplaying at local conventions, experimenting with costume design and sewing. Sofia is thrilled to be one of Mermaid Molly Flora’s performers because she loves working with children and representing diversity.
Beth was thrilled to join Mermaid Molly Flora in 2024 and is delighted to be entertaining children this year.
Beth has been singing and performing since she was a child, showcasing her talents with her local community choir and at school. She attended Mayfield Secondary School for vocal music, where she nurtured her singing talents. Beth was also a competitive figure skater for 16 years, which fostered her strong work ethic and physical performance skills while giving her opportunities to teach younger skaters.
In recent years, Beth has performed with many community theatre groups in both supporting and lead roles in musicals and plays. It was through these performances that she met and became friends with Molly, sharing a mutual love for creating magical experiences.
Beth began cosplaying in 2019 and fell in love with embodying her favorite characters. Living out her dream of “being” a Disney princess, she entered the world of children’s entertainment that same year. She has delighted in making children’s dreams come true ever since, including many virtual visits in 2020 and in-person parties starting again in 2021.
Now, Beth is overjoyed to be back as a princess, making children’s birthdays magical as part of our team.

Trista is a lifelong Disney enthusiast whose love for performing began on the stages of Pickering Christian School and All Saints Catholic Secondary. She found her voice through school and church choirs and began playing flute at age 12, performing with orchestra bands and in musical theatre productions.
Her passion for costumes started early, modeling her own creations in sewing-show fashion walks for Fabricland. That creative spark evolved into cosplay, with appearances at Toronto Comic Con and FanExpo - and in 2025, Trista won first place in a Disney cosplay contest at The Rec Room.
Now a proud member of Mermaid Molly Flora Entertainment, Trista brings her warmth and joy to every child she meets. With years of experience working with kids through church and summer camps, she’s a natural when it comes to making little ones feel seen and celebrated.
She’s also a mermaid performer - Trista swam competitively with the Whitby Dolphins, became a certified PADI scuba diver in 2021, and recently earned her SSI Mermaid certification. Whether on land or sea, she’s thrilled to make magic come to life.
